About LifeFull Schools

Executive Heads's Welcome

Welcome to the LifeFull Schools Federation.

As Executive Headteacher, I’m proud to lead a federation of three distinct Church of England primary schools: Princess Frederica, St Clement & St James, and St Thomas’. Each school is unique in character and community, but we are united by a shared Christian ethos and a belief in education that gives every child the opportunity to flourish.

Our LifeFull Schools name is inspired by the words of Jesus in John 10:10:

 “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

At LifeFull Schools, our role is to nurture children — academically, emotionally and spiritually — so that they grow with confidence, joy and aspiration.

I hope you’ll explore this site to find out more about our ethos, our people, and our vision for living life to the full.

Vision and Ethos

Our vision is to createthriving school communities, rooted in our Christian vision and united by purpose. Together, we aim to nurture schools where everyone is valued, learning is loved, and our vision is lived out daily through kindness, courage, and compassion.

Our shared ethos can be summed up in three simple but powerful words:

Belong – Everyone is included, everyone is welcome. We celebrate diversity and ensure that every person feels seen, valued, and part of our school.

Learn – We love to learn. Through curiosity, creativity, and challenge, we gain knowledge that helps us understand the world and make a positive difference within it.  We aim for educational excellence and the highest of standards.

Grow – We grow spiritually, in confidence, and in courage. We value and develop our unique character to become the best versions of ourselves with a strong moral purpose — ready to advocate for others.

Together, as LifeFull Schools, we are building schools where faith and learning flourish side by side — a place where every child, adult, in our community can truly belong, learn, and grow.

Anti-Racist Schools

We are committed to being actively anti-racist across all areas of school life. This means:

  • Embedding anti-racism into our curriculum, staffing, and policies;
  • Listening to and learning from the lived experiences of our communities;
  • Equipping children with the language, empathy, and confidence to challenge injustice.

Our federation values the diversity of our families, and we believe inclusive practice is not an add-on — it’s foundational.

In line with the 2010 Equality Act, we seek to ensure that no student, member of staff, parent or any other person through their contact with the school receives less favourable treatment on any grounds which cannot be shown to be justified. This covers race, ethnic or national origin, language, religion or belief, gender or gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy,  marital status, disability, age, responsibility for children or other dependants, political views and social class. Governance

LifeFull Schools Federation is governed by a single board of governors responsible for all three schools.
The board provides:

  • Strategic oversight;
  • Financial accountability;
  • Educational challenge and support.

Our governors bring a wide range of professional and community experience, and share a deep commitment to the success of all children across our federation.

SEND

Safeguarding is central to our culture and practice.  All three LifeFull schools follow consistent federation-wide safeguarding procedures, in line with statutory guidance and best practice.

  • Each school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL);
  • Details of each school’s DSL can be found on individual school’s website;
  • All staff are trained and regularly updated on safeguarding;
  • Our policies are reviewed annually by the LifeFull Governing Board.

If you have a safeguarding concern about the welfare of a child, please report this immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in your child’s school or to any senior member of staff.
